Las Vega Hotel Packages?

We'll be spending one night in Vegas in mid-week October. Where can you find hotel packages that include some free slots and/or meals???? Thanks for any suggestions!

Doubt you'll find free slots with any hotel packages (just play the penny machines); ditto for free food? Still lots of bargains on buffets, etc., but there are so many nice restaurants these days, why confine yourself to one place? Some hotels might offer 2/1 coupons on their buffets, but best bet is to check las vegas web sites.

The hotel websites often offer the best deals. And sometimes they do include free slot play (typically match play - you put out some money and they put out some more) or free drinks, discounts for food, etc. But keep in mind that you're not getting free food or slot play! It's just included in the room rate.

So, come up with a room budget then find a hotel that has rooms within that budget. If the special at the time also includes something free, great, but if not, you're still within your room budget. You can have a separate budget for gambling and food/drinks also, regardless of what is included in the room price.

Here is the site I always use b/c you can access *all* the hotel websites from this one site. Just click on the hotel and then open their site and look for "specials" or "special offers" to see what might be available.

About 5 weeks ago, I caught the tail end of a show on Travel Channel where the cameras followed two women who bounced from casino to casino, using all the free slots coupons and $5 or $10 valued 2 for 1 chip coupons in Vegas - found at different desks and in different papers/magazines.

Sorry that I don't remember full details...

Some hotels give you a card for free play, maybe $5 or $10, when you sign up for their players club. If I remember correctly, Sahara gives $10. And you don't have to stay in that hotel. You can go from casino to casino to sign up everywhere.

Once Flamingo had specials - 4 free margaritas per night, and the room was $55. It was on weeknights in February 3 years ago.

Most of the hotels give you a discount coupon book upon check in, also check the hotel's lobby for booklets, they have coupons.

I think the cheaper the hotel stay, the cheaper is the food there.
