What is important to you? What kind of budget? What does "and such" mean? Eating, gambling, entertainment?
Usually the Hotel/Casino's website has good deals but you should call directly as well. There are coupons around if you do a search, you could start with: wwww.atracktions.com or www.lvol.com there are a bunch.

I am sorry - I should have been more explicit - I am really interested in being in the middle of the strip and getting some deals for buffets - We are not too interested in shows - Just hotel, food, gambling and Entertainment since it is just us guys! I would like to spend 120 bucks a night i guess - I dont know what to expect so I guess i cant give you a real budget we all cant really afford much - I was thinking since it was sept11th that things would be cheaper - is that true?

Some cheaper hotels mid-strip to check out would be Imperial Palace, Harrah's and Flamingo. Tropicana is also cheaper and is on the southern end of the strip- more towards MGM, NY NY, etc. We've stayed at Imperial Palace and it's fine for a bachelor party- others may bash it, but it's in the center of the action and is clean and a place to sleep. You can then walk to everything you want to see. If you can spend just a bit more, my husband had his bachelor party in vegas and stayed at the Flamingo which is a step up and has a great pool area and cheap drinks.
My husband and I have always found the best deals through the hotel websites themselves- although sometimes a package deal will work out.
As for buffets- you get what you pay for. We tried the Boardwalk buffet because it was only 6 bucks but it brought flashbacks to college dorm food. You can often get the lunch price if you go right around 4 or 4:30. EZboard.com is a site that has lots of Vegas info as well.

I do like the Flamingo idea. Might want to try the Barbary Coast. Great location, decent place. I also have stayed at the Stardust and would do that way ahead of Imperial Palace. Stratosphere has good room deals but is out of the mainstream strip. For a guys trip trying to save money, don't forget Westward Ho or the Frontier or the always inexpensive Riviera. If you go to Vegas.com, you can book the Riveria right now for your dates at $69 per night. Buffet discounts abound, sign up for a card at Harrahs and get discounts on buffets there and the Rio.
If you really want to save money, perhaps you could consider downtown properties or off strip locations. In any event, book something now if you are concerned about that and keep on top of the rates between now and then. Hotels will honor the current rate when you call.
Better yet, book a couple and narrow it down as the time approaches.
There are sellers on eBay that have coupon books that are some real deals, might want to go that route.
Hope that helps.

Save money and stay at the Gold Coast. You can walk across the street to the Rio and also to the Palms (you might have seen this "in" hotel on MTV's Real World last year). Gold Coast has low-limit blackjack tables, 75c hot dogs in the sportsbook, a great steak special that includes a cold beer (in the Monterey Room), and a great prime rib in the Cortez Room. Since you're there for such a short time, you'll probably be happy just hanging out at the Palms and the Rio, plenty of action at both, but you can take the free Gold Coast shuttle to the middle of the strip and back and not have to worry about driving.
Both the Gold Coast and the Palms have low-priced buffets especially at lunch time.
