Trying again...I posted a month or so ago and had no responses, so I thought I would give it another shot.

We are staying at the Lamothe House/Marigny Guest House in a few weeks and I haven't seen much about it online. There are few mixed reviews on here, but they seem to be pretty old. I would love to hear some recent input about this hotel. Can anyone tell me ANYTHING about it?

It's a decent place. Ask for Eric at the front desk. He is very sweet and helpful.

Any one else have other suggestions for decently-priced B&B's in New Orleans?

we stayed at La Maison Marigny a couple of weeks ago for Quarter Fest. Wonderful place, on Bourbon, but across Esplanade, so it's not loud. Only four rooms. John is a great host. Loved the place. Jean

My husband went to an open house at Lamothe House right after it opened. He was impressed by the decor & the look of the place. He would recommend it to any family that wanted to stay near the Quarter so I guess that is a thumbs up. I have a friend that is a tour guide & she says positive things about it too.
