Lakeside, Harbert, or Sawyer MI?
Looking into summer home from chicago in one of these areas...Does anyone know about the differences in these 3 towsn? Currently we live on the north shore of Chicago.....thanks!

Doesn't matter which one you pick....you'll still get to travel (verrrrry slowly, thanks to w/e traffic)
thru one of the most noxious landscapes in the country. Whee, what a way to start the weekend - with a clothespin on your nose!

I think X is talking about the drive through Gary, Indiana on the way to Michigan from Chicago.
The air is not noxious in MI. It's clean and beautiful.

Lakeside and Harbert are better choices, beach access is more restricted, theHarbert Bakery is right there...
