LA/hollywood restaurants

We will be in LA for 3 nights. Can anyone recommend restaurants in the hollywood area that are good and kid-friendly. One dinner will be in Citywalk. Any recommendations there?

Also, can we walk from hollywood to sunset blvd?

Citywalk, up in Universal City, is chock-full of family-friendly restaurants. That's their stock in trade. Are you actually staying in the Hollywood area? If you're near Hollywood/Highland, there are also a bunch of family-friendly joints (a Wolfgang Puck eatery as well as a La Salsa, as I recall). I think they have a website to check.

Sunset Blvd. cuts THROUGH Hollywood. If you mean, can you walk from Hollywood Blvd to Sunset-- yes. It's not far at all. However, find a scale map of Los Angeles and study distances-- the things you're hoping to walk to may actually be a few miles away. This is a very, very large city.

Miceli's in Hollywood. Pizza, pasta, lots of atmosphere--an old H-wood standby. As mentioned above, the Hollywood/Highland complex has plenty of restaurants.

Mel's Diner between Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd on Highland is pretty good.

There is also a Hamburger Hamlet right across from the Chinese Theater.
