Kauai "rainy season"?

I will be in Kauai for my honeymoon the first week of November (can't wait!). We'll be on the north side of the island for most of the week, and on the south side for the last couple days. I've read that this may or may not be the "rainy season" or "winter."

Honestly, what can we expect weatherwise? Especially in terms of rain, temps, and calmness of the ocean? Thanks!
