weather advice for kauai
My brother will be going to Kauai in May using a timeshare, but he has several choices of where to stay on the island. I have heard that different parts are better at different times of the year because it can be really rainy, but I have only been to Maui so I can't help him out. Anybody have any recommendations on what part to stay on during May? Or does it not really matter?
Thanks!

debrad149,
My wife and I are going to be on Kauai the first two weeks of May 2009. We had generally traveled here in July, but decided on ealier in the year for this trip.
We have timeshare on the North shore at the Cliffs.
I have a file of all of our favorites to do and see and eat compiled over tweny trips to Kauai.
Drop me an email if interested and I will forward.

Generally, the north and east shores are a bit more rainy than the south, but you'll be fine regardless, especially during that time.
You have to just expect some rain on Kauai. That's why it's called the Garden Island.
