10 tables is getting mixed reviews. It seems that by and large the food is very good but they have not hit their stride in terms of timing and service. They better get there fast... the season is about to start! The other issue that I am hearing is taht it is very loud. Don't plan on an intamate quite dinner.... but like I said word is the food is very good. I'll try it in afew weeks and see how it goes.

I didn't think the food was very good. some of it was, some was mediocre.

Just ate at 10 tables for the first time myself. I'm not sure I'd rush to go back. The food is prepared simply, with very high quality ingredients. Portions are perfect - not the huge sizes we see these days. the braised pork cheeks appetizer was the best item at our table and I would go back just for them. The chocolate Terrine with Thai Basil Ice Cream & Sea Salt for dessert was something I wanted to like, but just could not reconcile the mix of tastes. Service was good.... seemed a bit sterile. The staff seems to have been instructed not to socialize at all with customers. Decor was again sterile.... I'd give it a 7.5.

Funny, I have reservations tonight at Ten Tables in Cambridge. We'll see how it measures up.
