JFK to Brooklyn, NY

Hi - I was hoping someone could tell me how much time I should allow (driving) to get from downtown Brooklyn to JFK airport. This trip would be on a weekday morning. Thank you!

During rush hour - or later?

And are you driving (do you know how to get there) or are you talking a car service?

It would be during rush hour (7:30 - 8 am) and I was going to call a car service. Thanks!

It should not take longer than an hour and will probably take less (more like half an hour), but I'd allow an hour in case you get stuck somewhere in traffic. Under extraordinary circumstances it can take longer, of course.

Agree - call the car service the night before and tell them when you need to be at the airport. They'll know traffic and weather conditions - and if there's construction or special events you need to allow for.
