Congrats on the return of your cat - I guess this is a travel thread - if you are a cat!

One thing I have noticed about cats is that they have more sense than to eat any kind of jello concoction.

Congratulations, ccolor! I'm delighted for you. My cats send their best wishes.
My own rave is that despite the flurry of activity around preparing and eventual cleanup, I got some serious cuddle-time in with my 7-week-old grandson, and I'll be doing more of that today. He got to meet his 7-month-old cousin, as well as the older ones, and everybody had a great time. Even the babies were having fun.
The Vectron flying saucer I got for my 9-year-old grandson was the hit of the day. His dad and his Uncle Dave both wanted to play with it. Now Uncle Dave wants to get one for himself.
We had such a great time. Now it's only 3 more days until my sweetie gets home.

Yippeeeee!!! Good deal ccolor! So happy for your family and the kitty! Now go adopt another one from the pound so kitty #1 will not be lonely. Two cats are just as easy as one. Easier in fact, they don't drive you nuts.

Yo - GoTravel: I'd take you up on the idea, but all THREE of our kitties are pound "leftovers" and we just plain ran outta room. (I don't want to be known as the doddering ol' fools with 200 cats ya know, so we had to draw the line at three.) Thanks everybody for the support - we've got a bottle of champagne (and some milk) and are celebrating New Years early!!!

Scarlett:
Did you go early to Saks to get the extra 10% off? I thought about it for 5 min and then decided against it since I have to TRAVEL an hour to the nearest Saks. Post Merry Christmas to all. We had a quiet Christmas by ourselves but I am feeding 35 tomorrow. Thank heavens for kitties that can find their way home. I always wanted to put a kitty-cam on mine to find out where they go and what they do.

You're exactly right, Leslie!! Get the recipe from your MIL! The red color looks so pretty on the plate for a Christmas meal. Along with the spinach salad, it was the perfect presentation!! One more day until we leave for our snowboard trip to the Summitt!! It should be beautiful with all the freshly-fallen snow. Like something out of a winter wonderland!

We have season passes and our condo is only five minutes from the resort. Great snow but very coooold!! Brrr..... ***kim***

Raves, my Duck, Normandy Style(apples and Calvados, creme fraiche ) was wonderful, the rant was shorly after dinner was served, heat and hot water went Phfft. This morning We had the problem fixed. It was the earliest time they could come, so last night was a three-dog-night.
