Italian Bakery

My family and I are taking a trip to NYC the middle of June and my mil said we must go to a place called Venieros sp? for cannolis
I've checked the forum and menupages and I can't find an address
Can anyone help me?
I think it's in the Village

Veniero's is at 342 E. 11th St. between 1st and 2nd Avenue (www.venierospastry.com). Frankly, I prefer De Roberti's across the street, on 1st Avenue.

Another longtime fan of Di Roberti's here - just as good as Veniero, without the crowd.

Another vote for DeRobertis if there's flexibility allowed: pastry at Veniero's may be marginally better, but DeRobertis is the true neighborhood place and untouched by time - a rare survival of the old Italian pastry cafe.

However, though I prefer DiRobertis for atmosphere, I prefer Bruno Bakery on LaGuardia Place (between Houston and Bleecker) for cannoli. The stuffing is squeezed into the cannolo shell just when you order--the shell stays nice and crisp, the stuffing smooth.
