I would pick Casa Morada or the Moorings (not on your list but very nice) if I were travelling without kids. Cheeca if I have the kids with me. I think Chesapeake Resort is a big drop in quaility from these three.

I just noticed the Chesapeake Resort has a $100 discount coupon available on eBay for $9.99. I've never used the hotel discounts, but we saved probably $75 last month on restaurants using eBay vouchers. Good luck.

We stayed at the Casa Morada last summer with a 15 year old and there were many other families there, so kids wouldn't be a problem. The resort is small, but very nice and the staff is very accommodating. Any specific questions?

For the most romantic - Pierre's. Have drinks from Morada Bay at sunset on the beach and then go to Pierre's. They are on the same property.
As far as the kid issue - I think Cheeca has so much for kids to do that it's hard to imagine going any where else. Also, my guys are at an age where they like to go to the kid's club there. The club is amazing.

After seeing the Casa Morada in a travel magazine, I would definitely choose it!
As a matter of fact, that might be where I will go for my birthday in March ~ It looks just beautiful!

I would definitely NOT stay at the Caribbean Resort again. The owner, Dottie, is very impolite & doesn't care about her guests. Most of the time she is off the property & leaves a note on her tiny office window saying, "Be back soon." It would be nice to know when she left so guests wouldn't be standing around for so long, trying to check in or ask questions. Very unorganized & frustrating.
