Is Thoroughly Modern Millie Still Playing in NYC??

Hi,
I am planning a NYC trip in January and desperately wanted to see Thoroughly Modern Millie. I looked on several websites and some websites make it seem as it is no longer playing but other sites (like http://www.newyorkled.com/moreNY_Broadway.htm) are still featuring it (but without prices)

My fear is that it is gone - but I want to make 100% sure. It won't be the end of the world - there are others I want to see. I will just be a little disappointed.

Any help will be much appreciated!!

It was playing at the Marriott Marquis theatre, and yes it is gone. It could be doing a road trip you might check on that and catch up with it somewhere.

Don't be disappointed you missed it. I saw it earlier this year and it was a waste of money, even at the half-price TKTS booth. I saw the original movie with Mary Tyler Moore when I was a kid and enjoyed that, but the story is just way too dated and corny for this day and age.

antlori,
Ummm...well, I have already seen it and I LOVED it!! ... I am a volunteer usher at my local theater and I was working the night I saw it, so I wanted to buy tickets so I could enjoy it even more.
LOL! I guess we all have different tastes.

Of course, everyone can have a different opinion, but this is one of the funniest posts, I've ever read. Of course it's corny and dated, and if you don't get that, antlori, then I'm not sure how to help you even understand the basic concept of Broadway musicals.
If we eliminated everything that is "corny" or "dated" on Broadway, I'm not sure if there'd be anything left!

Come come, now, Patrick. Surely you are using a bit of hyperbole in calling this one of the funniest posts you've ever read. If not, then, you gotta get a life!
