Back to report that the 9 Zero was a great place top stay.
Good service and clean, comfy and stylish rooms. I stayed on the 11th floor which so happens to be allergy/smoke free.
I stayed in a premium room (no view) that had nice duvets, down pillows, a nice walk in marble shower, a magnifier (was actually able to put mascara on)a nice robe, TV and a CD/radio. Pretty much everything I needed in a great walking location.
I was about a 5 minute walk from my seminar on Broad St. (Financial District) which I did on all but my last day b/c I was loaded up with goodies from shopping. Although I didn't have much time I was around the corner from DSW, Macy's and Filene's basement.
I was also 2 minutes away from the 9 Park restaurant - great food, not too pricey considering. I ate in the cafe side - 3 oysters on the half shell, a beautiful glass of wine, a complimentary dish with asparagus, tomato and candied onions and gnocchi with lobster and peas topped with a truffle sauce - It was so good, best of all my bill came to 44 USD. Not bad for Boston and directly accross from the Commons.
The hotel was also 1 minute from a 7 eleven where I purchased water as the teeny bottles in the fridge were quite exp. Room service food was actually not too bad. Got a burger for 12. and eggs benedict for 11. Coffee and tea was published as free and was not avail. Typo in literature. When I pointed this out to the front desk they sent me a nice tea set up each day - complimentary.
9 Zero lived up to the noted 4 stars. Will stay again and try the in house KO restaurant.
