Indoor waterparks--- mid-Atlantic area

Does anybody know of any resorts with indoor water parks (kind of along the lines of the ones in Wisconsin Dells)that are located within reasonable (about 6 hours?) driving distance of Washington, DC? My web searches came up empty.

Melissa:

The only one I know of is one around the Erie, PA area which is supposed to be amazing but that is about 6-8 hrs away from D.C.

The Great Bear Lodge, located in sandusky, ohio is a full service resort with a 10,000 (or larger) sq. foot indoor water park. Sandusky is also the home of Cedar Point, said to be the worlds best amusement park, voted the best roller coasters by roller coaster magazine. They have 15 or so, I think.

Sandusky is about an hour west of Cleveland, Ohio.
