weekend near Baltimore
I have another similar post but I decided to get more specific. We are planning a weekend near Baltimore on Nov.20, exploring the area with 3 kids, 4,7,8. I am really interested in the coast, especially Ocean City and the wild horses, but am concerned about the weather. We do not want to go to the big cities. Suggestions, please

I would suggest heading slightly north from Baltimore into Amish country. It's very horse-oriented, with lots of farms and open space. Intercourse (the town) is pretty much the best place to go. I love it there. Friendly people, interesting sights.

Hi Ita
Have a wonderful time in Williamsburg. As for the wild horses near Ocean City Md - they're actually in Assateague Md a barrier island that runs south of Ocean City.
I believe the horse run is done in the spring but you might learn more about it as Assateague is a national park with campsites and some cottages (I believe) and a really great place for kids. The weather will probably be iffy the third week of November.
Check the internet for the park service for Assateague - you should get a lot of info.
