An off-broadway gem.
I just saw Sarah Jones Bridge and Tunnel on Saturday, what a wonderful performance. This is a 1 woman show, written and performed by Sarah Jones. She is enormously talented, and put together this humorous and touching piece with so much thought and intelligence. It's well worth seeing. Not for younger kids (much will go over their heads), but for older teens and adults, it's just fabulous.
I also saw Bug which is not my cup of tea (a very dark comedy, not for kids of any age) and I also saw From Door to Door which is a very sweet, pleasant story, with excellent performances by the 3 actresses.

Thanks for posting. It is nice to get some feedback on shows other than the main stream Broadway musicals.
I tend to like very dark comedies and am somewhat interested in Bug. Was it just the type of show it was that you didn't like? For someone who does like that type show, did you think it was well done and interesting?

As far as Bug goes, I actually didn't mind the story until the 2nd act when it became flat out gross (in a bloody way). Without going into detail, there were moments I had to cover my eyes. The actors all do a superb job, it just was a bit too dark for my tastes.
