It's a rainy 62 degrees here in Lake Placid, NY...I don't mind it at all since it's been hotter than _insert your own analaogy here_ and my building is not air conditioned. It is actually nice wearing some sleeves today.

Yes, it is roasting here in Portland! Spent a week in Central OR and it was fine there, but something about this heat at home is just not right.

We are in a suburb and tend to be 3 degrees warmer than the city. Yesterday it was 95 at our house and today is supposed to be warmer.

My dad is in the east bay and said it was roasting there too, mentioned something about around 100 degrees.

DH flew to the LA area this morning and so wonder if he will be roasting?

Just got back home after a run up to Sacramento airport and lunch in at a restaurant here when we got back to Vacaville. It is HOT. Not sure of the temp but imagine about 100 degrees. But I know we don't have the humidity that some of you do but nevertheless I am so sick of this heat.
And have to leave again in a bit, yuck!
Wish I were in SF.

It's got to be 100 in Tampa. The afternoon rains cool things off but lately that's not even working. After it rains it's more like being in a cloud or a sauna. lordy.

I think we've hit a few 80s - but thank goodness the fog rolled in before it got too hot!

I'm late responding to this one here -- recovering from 100+ in Durham/Chapel Hill NC with some chilled Merlot with our broiled rockfish dinner. Ceiling fans are whirling and both AC units set to a socially acceptable and politically correct 77 degrees. People keep telling me it in not normal so hopefully next year we will be totally happy with 90 degrees daytime. It is sad not to be able to use my lovely screened porch -- even with it's ceiling fan paddling the thermometer says it's about 96 and the sun set a good bit ago.....
