Its pretty painful here in Charleston, SC...the thermometer in my backyard reads 100...according to the weather guy, it feels like 120 out there and I can believe it. Supposedly a cold front is coming and this weekend will be a fridged 90...burrrrr! God bless the inventor of a/c!!!

Approximately 98 here in Mass. and the humidity has reached new levels of hideousness!!

Wow do I miss those trade winds...I knew when we left Kauai I would have to come back to this nonsense and yet I still boarded that plane.

Are they in need of teachers in Kauai???

It's normal here today in Houston.
94 degrees F and 94% humidity. That's it for summer, unless it goes over 95, at which point I absolutely melt.
So, this counts for a great day.

kk, I grew up in that Houston humidity, so I can certainly sympathize.

Not too bad in Toronto today, but it's been in the 90's (or 30's if you're Canadian) for weeks and weeks and weeks. In BC it got warmish during the day and gorgeously cool at night; I was horrified to see the weather reports for Toronto. The heat wave seemed unrelenting.

It was 104 degrees all day Sunday and 90 plus most of the two weeks before. Yesterday was torrential rain after no rain for more than a month. My car went out (fuel injector), I had dentist at 6:30am, and ended the day in a downpour with a rented car between semis.

Today it is 75 degrees and beautiful. I just love Chicago. Change and variety is the spice of life.

My thermometer says 101.3 in the shade. Heat index is somewhere toward 110, I'm guessing. Bring on the thumpers.

Just a tad past noon here in the
southern Sonoma county and it's
a sunny 70. Y'all come by to cool off and we'll crank up the blender.
BYOT because
we're out.

In my close-to-the-coast corner of San Diego, it's a lovely 78 right now, but may get a bit warmer by mid-afternoon. Inland, it's much hotter.

And I was at the Sunday Sox game, Kal. I was the one with the shirt that read "I prefer my Sox white."

Rain room time, and they even had the sprinklers on in the Upper Deck Exit tunnel. Never a whine was heard, and all kinds of boomers.

I think it's in the mid 90s and it's humid. Just unpacking stuff from Target had me sweating

Oooh - Target - my favourite store. I would be sweating with anticipation even if it were cold outside.

OO, LOL! Following the 100+ temps we experienced over a week ago 90 feels like a cold front!

Scarlett, 95 in Portland? Really?? Are you still planning to go to Hell? Think of the heat as a primer for your trip ;-)
