I'm guessing you mean Orange County, CA which has a several of Hyatt properties encompassing a pretty large geographic area (Garden Grove, Irvine, Newport Beach and maybe some others). You might wish to be more specific if you want a response.

Hyatt Regency Orange County is a specific hotel, noname. That's it's name and it's the property in Garden Grove. Unfortunately it's also one I know nothing about, Jo. Hope you get some responses to your question.

You're right OliveOyl, the last time I looked it was the Hyatt Alicante or something like that.

Jo,
Stayed there middle of Oct. for three days. Fairly nice hotel. Large atrium in the lobby. Try to get a room in the north tower as they are renovating the rooms in the south tower. Parking was about $14 a day. They have a free shuttle to Disneyland that leaves and returns every 30-45 minutes. Last pickup from the park is one hour after closing. Next door to several restaurants including Outback, Red Robin, Joe's Crab Shack, and Coco's. There's a Target across the street if you need anything. We got our room through Priceline for $30 a night. At check-in was upgraded to a suite for $30 more per night. Good deal and the room was the size of an Embassy Suites room. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Hotel looked pretty slow for that time of year. Hope this helps.

I just got a room there for the early part of April through Priceline for $35 per night. I guess I should have started out bidding less, but I am still happy with the price. I do wish I could avoid the parking fee.

Got a room here also for $38 on Priceline. First bid of $30 turned down. Can anyone help me with transportation from John Wayne Airport to this hotel? Is there a hotel shuttle? Would it be cheaper to take a taxi for 3 people? Does the hotel provide a shuttle to Knotts Berry farm as well as Disneyland? Many thanks Fodorites
