We dined there, for a very special occasion dinner (our 25th anniversary). It was expensive, and worth it! The food was wonderful (I own a seafood restaurant and I was impressed with the fish), and service was great. There was a strolling musician duo, ukulele player and singer. The singer said she noticed the "love in our eyes" and was it a special occasion? We explained, and she sang a beautiful Hawaiian love song, while prefacing the lyrics in English. I know, hokey you say, but it sure made our night! We loved this romantic restaurant (the tables are on a deck over a stocked pond, with some having ocean views). Go for it!

I would highly recommend. Very romantic atmosphere and excellent food. Force yourself to learn the proper pronunciation of the fish before you eat. But what I remember the most is the above mentioned stocked Koi pond which is actually below and surrounding the dining area. I'm easily amused with pecular animal habits...it's the only place I've ever seen fish that can beg like dogs. Of course I obliged with a few chunks of bread thrown "overboard".

Hi,
Wailea has some great restaurants. The Humuhumunukunukuapua'a room has great food. Pricey, but excellent. Spago's at the 4-Seasons is another top notch restaurant as is Nick's @ the Fairmont. Entre's run in the $ 30-ish range at all of them. Nick's is my personal favorite of the three.
