Huge Drop in Hawaii Airfares

On Thursday I found a great fare on Travelocity from Portland, OR to Kona, and returning from Lihue to Portland. I emailed my friend (I already have my ticket at more than $200 over this price!) and told her to snap it up. She was unable to navigate Travelocity and by this morning the fare is gone! Lesson: You really do have to jump on these cheap fares when you find 'em.

Cindy,
See what "Nutz" said, that's it in a nutshell. I delayed on a deal just today because I didn't have a credit card with me at work & couldn't get hold of my wife .. Well I thought, another four hours until I get home won't make much difference .. WRONG, 50% increase by the time I got home, so had to go to plan "B" -which was OK too
but not as good.
Happy hunting.

Sorry guys it appears to be gone. The rates are up again, that stinks! For whomever asked, I am flying direct in November to Kona for 299 -- but during those 2 days, the fare was available in august, sept, oct and november -- SORRY. Do not fret, it will be back, the sales always come back.
