Huge Drop in Hawaii Airfares

Faretracker at Travelocity is reporting a huge drop in fares from New York airports to Hawaii for travel between Aug. 27 and Dec. 14. Fares posted are to Honolulu and Maui $487 and to Kona $529!!!

Here you folks go again, I just got the same e-mail went to check my routing from my city and $1253 is the cost not a sale in my view. Lucky you.

so far looks like only United participating, could only find the fares on travelocity, not on orbitz

Hawaiian Air also dropped its fares for travel between now and Dec. 15.

Just booked with Travelocity. From Boston to Maui: $519.70/person, includes Taxes & Fees. No joke. Was just doing a search and it came up. I called United and the flight is confirmed. Now I need to find a hotel/resort! Any advice?

Sean Jul 25th, 2002 08:05 AM

BTW, this is for dates 02/11/03 - 02/25/03

Hey sean, that price you got from boston to Maui-is that round trip?

Katie Jul 25th, 2002 12:11 PM

Sean,

Do you know when you have to complete travel to get this great price?

Sean Jul 26th, 2002 05:38 AM

The tickets are round-trip. No date to complete travel. I called United to confirm and there are no stipulations. The flight is legit. Even picked my own seats.

ssss Jul 26th, 2002 06:10 AM

Sean you want to be on the right side of the plane for going and the left side for returning. You will have areal island views this way with take off and landing. This is the case for Kauai and Honolulu anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Debby Jul 26th, 2002 12:15 PM

Laura, I'm flying from FL to LAX then later on to one of the islands---no idea which one yet. Can you tell me what airline your reserv is on for $300+? Thanks.

Laura Jul 26th, 2002 12:20 PM

United, through travelocity. I checked all other cites, orbitz, etc and none of them had the rate. good luck!

xxxx Jul 26th, 2002 12:30 PM

debby try Hawaiian from Lx and orbitz for the connection across U.S. If you don't see deals on inter island consider coupons HA and Aloha air can tell you about them over the phone
