Public Trans. from SFO to Powell Street

Are you staying at a hotel on Powell? Many of the slightly nicer hotels will have a complimentary shuttle service. If not, I'd suggest Super Shuttle. When I last used it the ride cost $16 plus tip. It may take a little longer than a cab but it's not too bad. And they're easy to catch, too.

Today BART is testing a train to SFO, maybe by the time you come here it will be running. It would be the best, most dependable, fastest connection with all Bay Area.
Anybody knows how to get from SFO to BART for now? Is there a shuttle to Daly City or Colma?

Yes, there is a shuttle between SFO and the Colma BART station. It's a Samtrans (San Mateo Transit) bus that runs about every 15 minutes. There's also a bus that stops at the Daly CIty station, but it isn't a shuttle and the stop is further from the airport.

Thanks everyone! I've looked into all your advice & I can do 1 of 2 things:
1. Take the sam trans BX bus to the COMA station & hop on the BART from there.
OR
2. Take the super shuttle.
Seeing how I'm alreday spending a small fortune- I think I'm going to suck it up & take the bus to the cable car.
Thank you all!!!

Taxi is not $38 per person, but Super shuttle is $16 per person, so if you're more than one person you might like the luxury of a taxi which will take you right to your hotel. I think the BART thing right now is very cumbersome. We're working on it though.
