How is the weather inKauai in early November?

We have reservations in early November at Pahio at Bali Hai Villas in Kauai. It is located on the North Shore. How might the weather be? Has anyone stayed at this resort? I have until tomorrow to cancel.

Thank you for your reply. How rainy? Rain that will ruin outdoor fun?

Poipu has a greater chance of being dry than the North Shore. I wouldn't cancel a trip, but a couple of days could be rained out...other days may be split as it blows over often.

Aloha mcr,

No worries... If the rain persists jump in the car and head south... usually the is shining somewhere on the island. Rainy days on the north shore might be good days for exploring Polihale, Waimea Canyon, some of the many waterfalls... be flexible with your plans and the weather. It's fun to shop and eat in Hanalei during showers. Enjoy the rainbows... have a carefree attitude (aloha spirit) and enjoy. ><

We have reservations at the Pahio at Bali Hai Villas in Kauai for the first week in November. Our grace period ends tomorrow afternoon. Is this a good time of year as far as weather? I believe it is located on the North Shore. And has anyone stayed at the Pahio?

mcr,

It's in Princeville on the lush and green north shore.

I've only been to the north shore
(Hanalei) in July/August and the weather was nice. Mid 80s during the day, 70s at night. Passing showers during the night and day. More rain than on other parts of the island and more than I've experienced on the Big Island or Maui. Breezy and not to humid. Big, fluffy clouds.

Maybe auntiem will see this and post, but I believe it is rainier in November than it is in August.

The Bali Hai Villas are just around the corner from our house -- only 2-3 years old, beautifully landscaped, great interior furnishings. I don't think there are any ocean views, but you'll be so busy seeing the island, you'll have _plenny_ views to see!

November will have rain -- not daily downpours, but passing showers for sure. Daytime temps will be near 80; overnight lows might get down to 70 or so.

I'd recommend Pahio Bali Hai Villas to anyone looking for a north shore condo.

Thank so much for your reply. Will there be warm and sunny days in early November for the beach?

Warm, yes.

Sunny? No guarantees...

We were in Kauai two years ago at that time. There were some days when it rained for a half an hour or so. When it stopped there were waterfalls and rainbows to look at. It really did not stop us from doing what we wanted. If I remember correctly it rained at night most of the time.

We were north of Hanalei 3 years ago at the same time. Rain was not a factor in our trip. It lightly rained here and there, but because it's so green, I expected that. The water was WARM which REALLY surprised me. You're absolutely gonna love it. We stayed at the Hanalei Colony resort. We love Kauai and you will too. (Sorry Kal)

How about the weather on Maui? My wife and I have never been, and we were just able to reserve a flight--we'll be in Maui from about Oct 30 through Nov 11.

Thanks for your help!

JohnD,

Thanks. I knew there was a reason why we go to Kaua'i in July!

Hey Bill,
Happy to oblige, what was helpful to me with the above link, was to plug in our own local airport and compare it to the above LIH (Lihue, Kaua`i) data. I hope we are as fortunate as you, to someday travel to Kaua`i in the summer.
