I'm sure you'll be happy there. Can't think of a better option for the price. One hint, if you're driving from the airport, be sure to turn right into the hotel's small below-ground parking area just before the hotel. If you miss it the first time, one-way streets make it a bit of a pain to wrap around.

Thanks for the info about the parking area. I don't think we'll need a car for the whole week, just the days to visit the plantations, so we'll probably take a cab, shuttle, or some such transportation from the airport. Any thoughts and what should we expect to pay?

You will love the hotel! Much nicer than your average Best Western and people watching is great from the pool. Don't forget your bathing suit! Remember, September is still summer for us.

Stayed at the King George IV B&B and would definitely stay again. It's in a great location; I walked to everything except the plantation tours. Clean, beautiful 'old' home, centrally located, quiet at night, accommodating hosts.
