Hotel or Bed and Breakfast?
I have to spend the night in Charlotte next week. The class is at the Renaissance Charlotte. Should I stay there or Duke Mansion or Morehead Inn or the Wyndham -- I think that is less than a mile from the Renaissance.
Therenaissance is the most convenient as the class is there. That said, I am a bed and breakfast person but for the one night I am not sure it is worth driving from there.
I think the Wyndham is less than a mile away and about half the cost of the Renaissance. So perhaps it would be worth it to stay there.
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks

The Wyndham is indeed less than a mile away from the Renaissance, and is a decent choice as a lower-priced alternative.
I would not stay at The Park--it's a nice hotel, but too far to drive in Charlotte traffic back and forth for a class at the Renaissance. Same thing with Duke Mansion and the Morehead Inn.

If the Renaissance is a lot nicer than the Wyndham, I would stay there. I think it is twice as expensive though. If they are on a par, then no point staying at the Renaissance. Any other hotel in the area to consider?
Thanks
