Hotel Lawrence - Dallas, TX

3 on trip advisor - anyone got any further comments - booking in next couple of days!! Looks to be OK I think

Its in a decent downtown location. I guess it depends what you plan to do while you're in Dallas. D Magazine gave it a nice award, and they're normally reliable for recommendations.

What is your budget? Do you need to be near a particular location? What are you doing while in Dallas?

Doing the JFK sites I guess, are on a budget as such due to the fact that we are travelling for a long time BUT want safely also!!and don't want to be in a slum

It seems like some either have a good or bad experience. I think those who have bad experiences don't realize there's the possiblities of running into homeless folks, but the hotel is not in a slum.

There's also a Springhill Suites in the West End that's close to JFK sites.
