hotel in San Jose

My 5 girlfriends and I are looking for a clean, relatively low-priced hotel for one night in San Jose (to catch an early morning flight out of the airport there.) Any suggestions?

Anywhere downtown will work for you. Just see what Priceline has.

You can also look in nearby areas - Santa Clara or Sunnyvale. Unfortunately it's a relatively high priced market due to all the local businesses. For 6 of you an option is a suite hotel like Marriott Residence Inn 2br (get 2 suites?).

If you plan on getting dinner or out for a drink, stay downtown. not that bad in the morning to get to the airport. I have stayed at the Hilton but there are many hotels. the Fairmont is the nicest and plenty of places to eat around there. Also a marriott. Also a Crown plaza all within walking distance of restaurants and such. The issue in San Jose is if it is during the week, business travel takes up most of the hotels in good spaces. I am sure there are hotels/motels near the airport or along the interstate if you are just looking for rooms. If you are looking to not rent a car, stay as near as you can to take a cab.

Doubletree Hotel. You can practically throw a frisbee to Terminal C.
