Hotel in Los Angeles area?

Looking for recommendations for a hotel in Los Angeles area in a decent location for around $100 a night or less. Any recommendations?

That price range will put you in a not so nice location. You're better off paying more to stay in a good area.

If you want to use Priceline or Hotwire you can get some decent hotels in LA Area (in decent locations) for $100 or less. What areas do you want to be near?

I know the feeling of wanting to pay less than $100. We had that problem in Dublin last year! In L.A., try a Travelodge, some locales that are not really hip, but will cost less are at LAX Airport (Aviation and Century),

In L.A., try a Travelodge, some locales that are not really hip, but will cost less are at LAX Airport (Aviation and Century), Hollywood (Vermont and Sunset), or other options are in Burbank, El Segundo, Pasadena or Long Beach. Those aren't real close to L.A. for doing touristy stuff but it's inexpensive accomodations! Good luck!

Look here....

http://www.orchidsuites.com/

and then check tripadvisor.com for reviews. We stayed here for two nights in December. It is right next to the Hollywood/Highland Center and Graumann's Chinese Theatre on its own quiet little cul de sac.

It is clean and nice, some of the units have kitchens. The decor is a little outdated, but, so what?
