Hotel for Family

I would like a recommendation for a hotel for a famly of 5 (3 kids)

Ideally would be centrally located, indoor pool.

We sayed at Embassy Suits many years ago and loved it. Maybe we should stick with that.

There are tons of threads here about hotels in DC. Maybe you would like to share your budget and when you are coming?

I would check Embassy Suites since you already said you like it and if that is too much, go to Orbitz to get an idea of the price ranges for when you are coming.

I would also suggest that you include DC in your subject line because "hotel for family" isn't very descriptive. I'm killing time while on hold, but others may not be bored enough to open your post.

Well thank you both.

Abram--the queston was posted on the DC forum. Thought that made ot obvious.

vjpblovesitaly-thank you for your insight. Coming in March. Budget-no limits. By caentrally located I mean close to the Mall.

You can't tell what "forum" it is or what has been tagged unless you open it or specifically search all posts under DC.

Everything just falls under United States when you open the US forum.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Capitol area and it was an easy walk to the Metro station and some Smithsonian museums. It was very clean, served a great breakfast buffet, and some evening meals. They do have an indoor pool, too. Check the Marriott website and my post from August. It is in a business area but we always felt safe - even coming back at night. Good luck!

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in DC last year, and it was nice. It was the 10th Street location. No complaints at all, and it does have an indoor pool. It was a walk of a few blocks to the subway, but then again, everything in DC requires tons of walking. I think Embassy Suites are great for families with the extra space and 2 TVs.
