upscale hotel in central location

We are planning a trip to DC and would like to stay in an upscale hotel that is in a good location. We won't have a car and will have a 4 yo. with us.

There are tons of nice hotels in DC. Maybe you could narrow it down and come back for specific recommendations.

How much are you willing to pay for this upscale hotel?

Hi Anne -- when people log into the US forum on this site, they won't know that your message is "tagged" as Washington DC unless they click on it. So, in order to get more (and better) responses, I suggest you repost your message with DC in the title (or, better yet, the neighborhood you're interested in). Please also provide some more detail on price range. I think you'll get more helpful responses that way.

The Hay Adams and the Willard Intercontinental are both upscale and very centrally located. Don;t know the price for a suite - obviously will depend on dtes.
