Hotel Advice?

Looking in to a NYC trip in the fall, and we luckily have a free gift certficate for two free nights at any of the four Ian Schrager (sp?) hotels....

Was wondering if anyone had ever stayed at Morgans, Royallton, Hudsons, or Paramount and could offer advice as to which is the best? Location is not so much a factor, as we have been to NYC several times and done the tourist stuff.

So I am mainly looking into info as to room decor, size, service, cleanliness, noise, as well as the dining/bar scenes. (There will be 3 of us in the room, so I almost think the Paramount will be ruled out.) I know we will probably just get a standard room, being free and all...but any advice would be very welcome.

Thanks.

I heard that some movie stars sometimes stay at the Morgans Hotel.

Unless you get a suite, you are going to be facing tiny rooms in all.

You will find the rooms at Morgans and the Royalton larger than those at the Hudson or Paramount. The Royalton location is a little more convenient, in my opinion.
My guess is that 3 people are going to be a bit crowded in a room at whichever hotel you choose.
