RiverRanger,
I noticed that you scheduled the hike on Nualolo and Awaanapuali Trails for the afternoon. I would highly recommend that any hikes occur early in the morning (flip flop this with the site seeing stuff later in the afternoon.) This particular hike took DH and I about 4-5 hours. It is 13 miles if you start at the Nualolo trailhead and end at Awaanapuali. We packed a lunch and enjoyed the views of the Napali coast--spectacular. But it got really hot around noon, and we were glad we started by 8am.
If you enjoy hiking, save some "free" time to do more. IMHO this is the most amazing place to hike--you have it all, mountains, waterfalls, lush vegetation, lakes, rivers...it is just amazing to explore this paradise.
