Hollywood, Florida restaurants

We are going to Hollywood and would like some ideas for places to eat - not chain type but nice restaurants. We will have 5 nights to try different places. We will be staying in the Diplomat Hotel. Any help would be appreciated.

No first hand recommendations, but this might help.

Try chowhound.com . Do a search on their FL BB. If you can't find answers, post a detailed query.

Barb --

A great restaurant between Hollywood and Dania is MARTHA's--it is on the Intracoastal and there is outside dining...It is upscale casual- Hubs may need a coat but no tie...

Also in Ft Lauderdale, Cafe de Paris on Las Olas is terrific( Incredible French Onion Soup and great duck, lamb chops and prime rib) as is the RIVERHOUSE Restaurant on the New River-
The RIVERHOUSE has outdoor dining and the area has nitetime outdoor entertainment also--Great rack of lamb.

Also for a laid back restaurant -try the Crab House for Garlic Crabs--
