Its' just your average place in the keys. Depends what you are looking for. Its' also located in a busy part of the road (U S 1) with lots of visitors for the marina, fishing, scuba/snorkeling as well as shopping & having a couple of rum runners. It has suites & cottages as well as rooms. I'm not sure what your budget is, but think you may enjoy it their if you like to do all the things mention above. Try some of the sunset cruises also.

We went there last December just to see it. I wouldn't recommend Holiday Isle UNLESS you are only looking for a young, partying crowd. There is no beach - just a sandy area completely covered with side by side beach chairs. The hotel is noisy and crowded at times and close to the road. DO a search for "Islamorada" on this forum and you'll find some good recommendations nearby.
