help- where to look for accommodation in Atlanta

My boyfriend is moving to Atlanta middle of September for a 9 month internship, he hasn't had time to look for an apartment/flatshare, so I'm just trying to help out, his work is on the Interstate N Pkwy SE. To be honest, I am not even sure what that means.
Can anyone tell me the best area to look for accommodation? Either close by, or easy commute. Obviously living in the UK and having never been to Atlanta, we are a little out of our depth. Thanks

are you looking for an extended-stay motel type place to stay while he looks for a sublet....or are you asking for help finding the actual apartment/flat?

You probably want to check postal code 30339 near Strayer University/ Cumberland. Google maps shows a number of apartment complexes such as Walton River Apartments.

There are a lot of apartment complexes in that area. clarkgriswold has a good suggestion on how to find them. Vinings would be the prettiest area, I think.

FWIW, Interstate North Parkway is in an area in Northwest Atlanta on the north side of I285 and east side of I75 just past the junction of those two interstates. Pretty nice area --used to have an office on Interstate North Parkway.

Have you looked into getting a car to get around in?

That road is 1.5 miles long - or longer. Is he working at Pappadeaux's?
There are 8 apartment complexes within a 1/2 mile.
The city is Marietta - but just looking for Marietta means a really large area.

Here's a link to some sublets in Marietta -
