Help! Phoenician or Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch?
Two adults visiting Scottsdale in early October. Looking for great pools, great relaxation and a great vacation spot. Setting aside the issue of the money, which resort do you recommend.....Phoenician or Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch?

Phoenician has prettier grounds, better restaurants and better rooms (but don't be stuck in the added on blocks of rooms in back of the hotel, stay in the main hotel with a cityview room). The views of Camelback Mountain out the back of the hotel are also an interestin backdrop.
The Hyatt's pools are nicer. But the Hyatt's an old hotel (by AZ standards) and the rooms are outdated.
