Help on deciding on a Big Island condo

I recently posted for info on Kona Condos , the response was great.Thank you all. Now,it's time to boil them down. I'm looking for 1B/2Ba or 2/2 oceanfront or at least a very good ocean view with air conditioning.. Has anyone stayed at the following condos:
Kona Makai,Hale Kona Kai,Kanaloa at Kona,Kona Bali Kai or Kona Nalu .I've stayed in Kohala before but they are really not ocean front or at least I haven't found any.

Any other suggestions?? Any thoughts on any of the above??
Thanks for your help.....

We loved Kanaloa at Kona. Very lovely, clean, upscaled condos. Huge bathrooms, nicely furnished with AC. Wet bar on the lanai. There is no suimable beach of course but the views were great.

Thanks. It's funny that's the condos we are leaning to at the moment. Did you stay waterfront ? Are they just one story, that's what they look like in the pictures.

They are two story. We had a water front and even though there was a nice breeze on the lanai, we were there in the summer and felt that air conditioning was certainly desirable. We used it. They are very nice. There is a large living room with a dining area off of the LR and the galley kitchen. The floor and counters were tiled in the kitchen and bathrooms, elsewhere was carpeted. There is an appt size washer and dryer, as well as gas grills on the property for use. If we were looking for a condo situation, we would stay there again. We like a hotel atmosphere so we are going to the Hilton Waikaloa Village again.

We, too, stayed at Kanaloa at Kona. We had a 2 BR/2 Bath upstairs unit. They are spacious and lovely. Beautiful grounds. Great restaurant there, too.

I'm really happy to read these nice reviews on Kanaloa at Kona. I've booked that place for our last 5 nights in hawaii. I can't wait!

We got our unit from www.enjoyhawaii.com but I would search for the best price. The unit upstairs from us was for sale at $500K, so I would think that most of them would be well maintained.
