Help me choose between these hotels...please
Hey folks, finally decided on the days I'm going to NYC. Now I need some help deciding between a couple of hotels I checked out. I know they're not the most expensive and/or the classiest but they're in the price range I'm looking for. The hotels I'm trying to decide between are the Milford Plaza, the Hotel Pennsylvania, the Quality Hotel-Times square and the Club Quarters Midtown-Times Square. Please help out this first time traveler to NYC. TIA.

The Milford Plaza has been known by locals as Mildew Plaza. Reviews lately on tripadvisor haven't been too bad but walls are thin and it ain't much. Most tourists like the location.
The Quality Hotel has been under renovation. You don't say when the trip is for, but read this and decide

Can't say much about the Club Quarters other than read reviews on tripadvisor.
The Comfort Inn Midtown is in a good location and while not fancy, generally well liked. Radio City apartments is great, but often not available.

not having stayed at any of them, I wouuld still avoid the hotels Pennsylvania and the Milford Plaza like the plague.
What do you want to spend per night?
I'll bet there are much pleasanter hotels that can offer the same or lower prices.

Do not stay at the Hotel Pennsylvania! My best friend made the mistake of staying there a year or so ago and had a horrible experience. Somewhere online you may even be able to find the article Dave Barry wrote about his experience there. It's hilarious!

Not the Hotel Pennsylvania for about a 1000 reasons.
I stayed at the Milford Plaza back in February and thought it was just fine. Great hotel chandeliers and 50s deco decor that seems to be original to the building.
Club Quarters are great business hotels. That would be my first pick.
The Quality Hotel was something else recently but I can't remember what.
