Help me choose--Bellagio or Wynn

I know no one has experience with Wynn Las Vegas, since it opens at the end of this month. But, my wife and I are going to Vegas for July 4 weekend. Already have reservation at Bellagio for lakeview room. My wife has never been to Vegas, and I thought she'd really enjoy Bellagio for relaxing poolside, etc. But, rooms at Wynn look great on website, and I'm sure it will be spectacular. So, just deciding whether to go with the known or the unknown, and I thought I'd poll the always helpful Fodorites. Thanks.

Every bit of publicity has made clear that STeve Wynn is pulling out all the stops and every single feature of his new hotel will be better than the Bellagio, so I'm not sure what else you're hoping to find out.

If you had been going to Las Vegas just as the Bellagio opened, would you have been here posting -- Mirage or Bellagio? Posting Bellagio or Wynn's is pretty much the same idea.

Thanks all. Looks like it's unanimous. I've made a reservation at Wynn. I'll certainly post back with my review when we return.

I greee...go with the WYNN. My husband is taking me to the WYNN for the opening weekend. I can hardly wait. We usually stay at the Bellagio and this I'm sure will top that as well. Will also report once I return.
