Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica.
Downtown Disney, Anaheim.
Hollywood Bowl-- I don't care if it's a little longhair for some, it's a cool thing.
Walk around downtown Huntington Beach.
Stroll on Balboa Island.
Westwood Village.
Old Town Pasadena.
Lots of things I can think of. And I'm sure others will chime in....

A drive along Mulholland Drive.
Catch a movie at ArcLight's Cinerama Dome on Sunset.
The Block at Orange has a Van's Skateboard park, a Dave & Buster's, and a Lucky Strikes bowling alley as well as shops, restaurants & movie theatres. It's a big hit with teens & tweens.
Good question!
