Hawk's Cay or Cheeca Logde?

Trying to pick a Key's locale for next Easter. Stayed in Key West this year and loved it, but I don't have any more timeshare points left. Any comments on Cheeca vs Hawk's? We have 3 kids - they are all water nuts - rates are about equal at both resorts.

Cheeca much more upscale than Hawk's, but Hawk's very, very kid friendly. The townhouse setup is great for travel with kids. More room and a full kitchen. Stayed a week at Hawk's with 3 little kids. They loved the pools and water "adventures" but never ate at the restaurants..went to places in the area.

I can't help you on a comparison of the two, but we stayed at Hawks Cay with two kids and it definitely was kid friendly. We stayed in a regular hotel room, not a townhouse. In the evenings, by the main pool, they had activities: movie & popcorn, family bingo, etc. that my kids loved. We reserved a dolphin encounter which was a big highlight. You can go over and watch their dolphins at any time.

Stayed at Hawk's Cay twice: most recently in February. It is a great place for kids of any age. So many activities and exceptionally accomdating to families. I would recommend it without hesitation!

How old are your children? I think Hawk's Cay does a great job with younger kids, but if your kids are older, you might consider Cheeca.
