Has anyone stayed at the Venetian?
Has anyone stayed at the Venetian? I am in Vegas for five days at the end of May. I am looking at staying at the Venetian but have read varying reviews. If not, can someone recommend a hotel with oversize rooms please?

The Venetian rooms are extremely large including an enormous bathroom, decent bedroom with TV, and then a few steps down is a spacious living room with sofa (pull-out), chairs, tables, and TV. Four people could be very comfortable here.

Agree with all the comments on the size of the rooms. The spa and fitness facility is operated by Canyon Ranch, absolutely excellent. The in house restaurants and bars are agreeable. Tao is arguably one of the two or three hottest bars in LV. Venetian is across the street from Mirage and W. The Fashion Mall is cattercorner. It's a good neighborhood. You won't be disappointed.

We have stayed at the Venetian about 5 times now an have always loved it. The rooms, food, night spots an of corse the shops. We go 2x a year and last time stayed at the Wynns that has the most spectacular beds I have ever been in. Rooms are unbelievable.

Have stayed in both sections a few times because my spouse does speaking engagements at the hotel. The rooms are great. Nice sized and good, firm beds. The only thing I don't like is that the lines to check in can sometimes be lengthy during peak periods. No reason not to stay there, the location is excellent and the restaurants are very good. Favorites are the Grand Luxe Cafe and Tao which we just enjoyed last night

I've stayed there 2Xs, both in the Venezia tower, once 4 years ago, and again just this month.
On my first stay, the Venezia was just a week old, and I was wowed. This time, while it's still new, and the rooms still verey nice, hotels do age quickly in Vegas, and our room seemed just slightly dated, not so impressive, though the bathroom was still gorgeous.
I have no complaints about the Venetian, service was very good for such a large place, it's a fun place to stay and walk around, and has a great selection of restaurants.
However, I'd been debating between the Venezia concierge level and a Wynn towers suite, finally choosing the Venezia on good memories and a bit less money.
Long story short, once I saw the Wynn and the towers area, I kicked myself! I should've listened to Tahititams and others who told me to stay at the Wynn!
