Fun for teens in Chicago
We will be going with about 30 high school students to Chicago Easter Week (April 5-9). We will be going to the museums, Navy Pier, Hancock Bldg.
I am looking for something active and fun for them to do. Any suggestions? Go karts? Ice skating? (I see the outdoor skating closes by April 1st)
Thanks

When we went to Chicago, I had a 19 and 17 year old. I would most definately suggest yall try to take in the Blue Man Group. Our middle school has taken several trips to Chicago and they include this show in their plans. It was alot of fun!!

Both good suggestions, we will be going out on a boat ride and architectual tour. Blue Man Group is coming to New Orleans and some of the kids already have tickets for that.
I went to Chicago with my family last June and used a lot of the suggestions from this forum and had a good time.
Keep the suggestions coming.
Thanks!

Ah, April in Chicago. Notice how there are no songs that begin this way.
Early April will be chilly - most days will be in the forties, with rain about half the time. It's too nasty to be outside much, and too warm for sledding or ice skating.
You may want to spend one day at the Museum of Science and Industry, and visit the nearby University of Chicago. You may be able to arrange a special tour through their admissions department.
MSI and the U of C will take up a whole day. Navy Pier, a boat ride, Hancock Observatory and a music or theater performance is another day. The Art Institute, Millennium Park, the Cultural Center and a walk around the Loop is another whole day.
