Hampton Inns Alexandria Virginia
Will be traveling to Alexandria in November for a wedding. I like staying at Hampton Inns. The wedding will be in Falls Church and the reception at Mt. Vernon. Can anyone tell me if the Hampton Inn Alexandria Old Town South located on Richmond Hwy. would be a good choice? Thank you for any advice you can offer

Are you interested in whether the hotel itself is nice or whether or not Falls Church is easily accessible from that location? I haven't stayed at the HI on Richmond Hwy, but I have stayed at the one on King St. in Old Town Alex. and really liked it and its location (near restaurants, galleries, metro etc.). I'm not sure how easy it would be to get to Falls Chruch from there.

I'm not sure if you're concerned about the hotel or the travel to wedding either. But in terms of getting around, with a rental car you can very easily get to Falls Church from Alexandria. Depending on where in FC, it would take about 20-30 minutes.

Thank you for your response lisatravels and language buddy.
This got posted twice and I have received some comments on my other post.
We will be driving our own car. The wedding is in Falls Church and the reception is at Mt. Vernon. We will only be staying two nights. Budget is a concern also. Yes, I was wondering if it was nice and also if the location was good. It was suggested that the Hampton Inn on Leesburg Pike might be a good option.
How about the weather in November?
Thanks again.
