Halfway between Columbus, Ohio and Providence, Rhode Island

I live in Providence and my boyfriend lives in Columbus. Instead of just making the flights to see each other we wanted to do something different this time. Any suggestions about places that are halfway between the two cities? We would like to go camping, any good places in southern PA? Thanks for the help!

Ohiopyle is beautiful! Offers lots of activities and is 70 miles from Pittsburgh which is usually a reasonable airfare and you could then rent a car. http://www.cometoohiopyle.com/ If you go, spend a few hours at Fallingwater http://tinyurl.com/kvcohu
Have fun!

Second on cd's suggestion. We got a terrific deal 2 summers ago at Seven Springs Resort in the area as they cater to the ski crowd
