Half price tickets DC on sundays?
I have searched www.ticketplace.org and see nothing about how to buy reduced Sunday tickets, as they are closed after Saturdays.
Does anyone know if one just cannot get reduced seats for theater at kennedy center on sundays?
thanks. it is quite a savings, and there are four of us.

Have you looked at the Kennedy Center website? Discount tickets are available for certain groups (students, seniors, military, etc.) and there are standing room tickets available for certain performances. http://www.kennedy-center.org/
The Kennedy Center information line is 800-444-1324 or 202-467-4600. That may be most helpful.

Thank you so much for suggesting I speak with them directly. I was focused on the half price booth and their website for reduced tickets.
.. and yes, the same day of the performance, an hour or so before, Kennedy Center itself sells half price tickets, if available, to students and seniors, etc... so hopefully this will work out for us!
But everyone has to be present to buy them, although a senior can buy another seniorīs ticket, college students need to be present with proper ID. Elementary and high school students do not need ID, but must be present at time of purchase.
