washington d.c. nationals tickets

I am planning to catch the Nationals game vs. the Tigers on Wed, June 20th. Does anyone know how easy or hard it is to get tickets at RFK? If plan to take the Metro, could I find folks selling tickets when I get off? Thanks.

I don't think the Nats games are close to selling out, so you should be fine. You should never buy tickets off the street

You'll be able to buy about 20,000 tickets at the ticket box window before the game starts.

Just a bit more background.. there are lots of tickets, but I would like to get good, lower bowl seats, and those are not available on line. I hear that season ticket holders have them, but often don't come to the game. In other parks that are not selling well, I am usually able to buy tickets from folks on the street who have bought the season ticket holders tickets, but this does not work in all parks due to local laws or enforcement of such laws. Or, do you know if the Nationals sell season ticket holder tickets at the ticket window if the ticket holder is not going to use them? Thanks again.

Go to stubhub.com

They should have what you are looking for and you don't have to worry about any legality issues.

I don't know the rules around RFK. Maybe somebody else can chime in.

I don't know whether the Nats sell returned season tickets. Call them to find out. That could be a good option for a midweek games vs. the Tigers.

There will be lots of people selling tickets on the walk from the Metro to the ballpark (there were last Thursday). Bring along a seating chart so that you can know what you're buying.
