Guys reunion help in Vegas

Meeting 4 buddies from High School days in Las Vegas. We are staying at Gold Coast and I need some tips on where we should "hang out" when not at the tables. 4 Guys 40 hopes to be an annual event. Will be there Weekend of June 20.

Go across the street to the PALMS and across the street to the RIO. Lots more action than at the Gold Coast.

Ride the Gold Coast shuttle to the strip and check out Caesar's Palace and the Forum Shoppes.

4 guys in Vegas hanging out at the Forum Shops at Caesar's? Hmmmm. Can't see that one. Unless they're there buying gifts for their SO's to appease their guilty consciences.

Maybe Clark is assuming they have "shared the love that dare not speak its name."

In any case, you might want to hit the ESPN Zone at NYNY. While your only viewing option on a Saturday in July will be baseball, it's still a fun place to go. I'd say don't waste your time heading to downtown Vegas. The show isn't much better than you can see at 90% of sports stadiums.

A really fun bar is the Carnival Court at Harrah's. Usually good music and a lively crowd.

In terms of other kinds of entertainment that "hanging out" might imply, I've only with my wife the last 4 years. Last time I went for a bachelor party was way to long ago to have relevance.

The Forum Shops is home to some great restaurants including Spago and the Cheesecake Factory....it's also a great people watching spot, the Stage Deli is great for breakfast, and the bar at Planet Hollywood is fun.

I read about a club called Green Door or something that is outside of the strip about 20 minutes. I believe in the middle of no where. And famous people hang out there sitting outside on sofas while live music plays.

And I thought the top of the Rio hotel had the bartenders like the movie Cocktail.

There's a fun piano bar in the New York, New York.
